Cleanliness is Always a Top Priority.
In addition to standard cleaning procedures, housekeepers now use an electrostatic sprayer to apply hospital-grade disinfectant to frequently touched surfaces in guest rooms (includes entire bathroom, door handles, light switches, telephone, TV remotes, flooring, rugs, chairs, desk, headboard, bed shelves, exercise pad, etc).
Upon completion of cleaning, a disinfectant mist is sprayed throughout the room. Bedspreads are sealed in plastic bags to assure they are freshly laundered. As always, all bed linens and towels freshly laundered.- NEVER reused. Rooms are not accessed by anyone from time cleaned until the next guests arrive.

The Liberty Inn hotel is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke-free environment, and is proud to be part of the clean-air smoke-free movement in the industry.
The smoke-free hotel policy has received praise from guests, and Liberty Inn remains committed to achieving a smoke-free environment on its property located in Chelsea, New York City. The continuing efforts to comply with the smoke-free policy reinforces our commitment to being an environmentally friendly hotel.
Our Smoke-free Hotel Policy
Our Smoke-free policy is enforced on the entire property of Liberty Inn hotel. The policy represents the initiative to create a non-smoking environment by eliminating smoking or vaping use in guest rooms, public spaces and associate work areas. Smoking devices include cigarettes, tobacco, pipes, cigars, marijuana, water pipes, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and illegal drugs.
Why did Liberty Inn institute the Smoke-free Hotel Policy?
The majority of guest requests favor a non-smoking hotel environment and the only way to provide this experience is to not allow smoking within the building and within 15 feet of the building.
Where am I allowed to smoke when I am at Liberty Inn?
Although smoking is not permitted within the hotel building, guests who smoke are permitted to do so at least 15 feet away from the building. This is to prevent hazardous smoke and fumes from entering through open window and vents.
What measures will Liberty Inn take to enforce the Smoke-free Hotel policy?
All associates have been trained to respond to potential violations of the policy. For example, housekeepers are trained to observe signs of smoking in the hotel. Guests are reminded at the time of booking and upon arrival at the hotel that smoking is not permitted inside the building. There are notices on the official website of Liberty Inn that includes a reference to our Smoke-free policy. There is a significant room recovery fee for guests who do not comply in order to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.
